Terms of use
Last updated 24 October 2026
ashare.net is run by a private person, not a company. These terms apply to everyone who publishes on ashare.net and to everyone who opens or comments on a link to it.
What ashare does
ashare hosts HTML and Markdown documents that people publish with an API key, usually from an AI agent. A new document is private: only its owner and the emails the owner listed can open it, after confirming their address with a code. The owner may instead open a document to anyone with the link, with or without a password. Readers comment without an account. Links are hard to guess and hidden from search engines.
Plans and payment
Free and Pro are personal plans, for an account on a public mail service like gmail.com. Free costs nothing and includes 50 MB of storage. Pro costs $5 a month or $48 a year and includes 10 GB. Buyers in the European Union, by the country of their connection, pay in euros: €5 a month or €48 a year plus 21% Spanish VAT (IVA); invoices and the Stripe billing portal are in the same currency, and a subscription stays in the currency it started in. Storage counts every version of every document of yours. Past it, new documents and versions are refused until you delete something or upgrade; nothing is deleted for you.
Stripe takes the payment and keeps your card details; ashare never sees them. Pro renews at the end of each paid period until you cancel. Cancel any time with Manage billing on your Billing page: Pro stays until the end of the period you paid for, then the account is on Free again and your documents stay. For a refund, write to abuse@ashare.net from the email of your account; refunds are made on request.
Companies
Whoever signs in with an email on a company domain, any domain but a public mail service, joins the organization of that domain on ashare as a member. When no organization holds the domain yet, ashare makes one named after it at the first sign-in, and that person is its owner. Members see each other's names, emails and roles and open the documents shared with the company. An account on a company email is paid for by its company and cannot move to Free or Pro.
A company pays $30 a month for the whole company, whatever the number of members; in the European Union €30 plus 21% Spanish VAT. That includes 30 GB of storage shared by everyone. The first domain of a company is included; each further domain is $15 (€15) a month, and each extra 10 GB of storage is $5 (€5) a month, plus VAT in the European Union. Billing is monthly only, at the start of each month; when a domain or extra storage is added or removed during a month, Stripe prorates the change on the next invoice. A new company gets 30 days of trial without a card: extra domains are free during the trial, and extra storage can be added once the trial is over and billing is active. After the trial without billing, or when a payment stays unpaid for 14 days, members cannot publish new documents or versions until billing is in order; viewing, comments and the documents themselves stay. The owner and admins manage billing with Stripe, as above.
The owner and admins may remove a member. Removing a member deletes their account together with all their documents, versions, files and comments on them. Leaving a company does the same to your own account. There is no undo.
Your content, your responsibility
You are responsible for what you publish and for the comments you leave. ashare does not check documents before they go live. Publishing gives ashare no rights to your content beyond storing it and showing it to people who open the link.
Not allowed
- anything illegal;
- malware, exploits, or pages that attack the people who open them;
- phishing, or pages that pretend to be another person, service or company;
- personal data of other people published without their consent;
- spam, harassment and threats.
Reports and removal
Every document has a Report link at the bottom of the page. You can also write to abuse@ashare.net. The operator reads every report. A reported document of an account younger than 7 days is taken down at once, until the operator has looked at it. A document that breaks these terms is taken down: its link shows “Removed by the operator” instead of the document. The operator may also take down or delete content without a report and without notice when the law or the safety of readers calls for it.
No guarantees
ashare is a small service run by one person and comes as is: no promise of uptime, of keeping your data, or of fitness for any purpose. Keep your own copy of anything that matters. As far as the law allows, the operator is not liable for losses caused by the service or by what other people publish on it.
Changes
These terms may change; the date at the top shows the last edit. Questions go to abuse@ashare.net.
