Billing
Every plan has every feature. You pay for storage and for removing the footer. Storage is the size of all versions of all your documents.
- Free: 50 MB of storage, no card. Public documents carry a “Shared via ashare.net” footer.
- Pro: $5 a month or $48 a year, 10 GB, no footer. For an account on a personal email, like Gmail or Outlook, outside any organization.
- Company: $30 a month for the whole company, any number of members, 30 GB of storage shared by everyone. The first domain is included; each extra domain is $15 a month, each extra 10 GB of storage $5 a month. Monthly only. A 30-day trial without a card.

Over the limit
When storage runs out, publish, a new version and edit answer 402 “Storage limit reached: Free plan includes 50 MB, upgrade at https://ashare.net/me/billing” and write nothing. Reading, comments and deleting keep working; delete documents you no longer need to free space. Moving from Pro to Free keeps your documents, new ones wait until you are under the limit.
A company over its storage gets 402 “Company storage limit reached: add 10 GB on https://ashare.net/me/billing”, and a member is told to ask the owner.
A new account also has anti-spam limits for its first 7 days: up to 20 documents and 50 MB, 20 share letters a day, and no password fields in its documents.
Letters
A day before Stripe charges a Pro or a company subscription, a letter says how much and when; a day after a payment fails, a reminder. The owner and admins of a company also get a letter a day before publishing pauses and on the day it does. When a publish hits the storage limit, Free gets a letter about Pro, Pro one about moving to a work account on company billing, and the owner and admins of a company one about extra storage, once a day at most.
Pay and manage
On Billing, Upgrade opens Stripe Checkout, monthly or yearly. Manage billing opens the Stripe portal: cancel or resume, change the card, download invoices, set your address and tax ID. An account with a live Pro subscription can’t be deleted: cancel it first.
Company billing
An owner or admin sets up billing on Billing: Stripe Checkout with the company price and a line for the extra domains, if there are any. The bill comes monthly, at the start of each month. Adding or removing a domain on the organization page while billing is active changes the next invoice, pro rata; during the trial extra domains are free. Once the trial is over and billing is active, Add 10 GB on Billing buys 10 GB of storage for $5 a month, and Remove a pack gives one back while what the company keeps fits without it.
When the trial ends without billing, publishing pauses for the whole company, while documents stay open to readers and comments keep working. When a payment fails, publishing keeps working for 14 days.
