Privacy and data export

Your documents stay yours: private by default, exported with one button, deleted at once when you ask.

Download your data

Download my data on your profile gives you a ZIP: profile.json, settings.json, comments.json, access_requests.json, and for each document documents/<id>/document.json with every version as you published it. Once an hour. An export over 100 MB or 5000 files is refused: write to abuse@ashare.net.

Delete your account

On your profile, type your email to confirm. The account goes at once with its sessions, keys, connected apps and every document with all versions, files, comments and access lists. There is no undo. The database keeps a recovery history for 30 days, then deleted data leaves it too.

Two things come first: cancel a live Pro subscription, and if you own an organization with other members, hand ownership over.

Where documents run

Documents load from a separate host, c.ashare.net, in a sandbox. A document’s scripts never see your ashare.net cookies, and its forms send nothing. Links are unguessable and search engines do not index them.
